Dave Lewis – Bass Guitar. 12 String Guitar. Mandolin. Banjar. Melodica. Keyboards. Vocals.

As well as being a much admired and accomplished multi-instrumentalist and singer, Dave is a fine recording engineer, mixer, arranger and producer, mostly operating from Lakeside Studios in Bristol, which he owns.

These and other skills were hard earned during grueling world tours throughout the 1970s and 80s, where Dave was part of the team that got the likes of U2, Dire Straits, Pink Floyd, Tina Turner, Emmylou Harris and the Hot Band, amongst others, out on the road.

As well as with The Shrinks, Dave’s warm baritone voice and cool bass riffs can be heard accompanying Bristol singer songwriter, Steve Hogg (www.stevehogg.net). Dave also performs as a duo with Hilary under the billboard-friendly name of Dave Lewis and Hilary Steven, recently receiving rapturous applause on their support slots for Julie Felix and Paul Jones at the Bristol Folk house (http://groups.msn.com/BristolFolkHouseMusic/homepage.msn).
