Sean Snook – Lead Guitar.

Considering Sean is a child of the 70s, it might appear unusual that his first band, ‘A Handful Of Thieves’, formed when he was 15, should be playing 50s Rock And Roll and Doo-Wop, but then if you’ve witnessed his talent for guitar, you’ll quickly understand that Sean can play anything, a fact showcased in his subsequent career.

In ‘The Psycho Daisies’ he was channelling 60s Yardbirds, then in the mid-90s it was Indy / Brit-Pop in “Malago’, which also featured his keyboard wizard brother Alec (AKA Zoon Van Snook), and in the great Rock and Roll tradition the band was almost signed by a major label.

In the naughties Sean and his college friend Billy Fuller (Robert Plant Band), were recruited by ‘Malachai’ to play a hybrid Psychedelic-Hip-Hop-Break-Beat on large tours supporting the likes of Groove Armada and Doves (check out their album: Ugly Side Of Love).

Recently, Sean has been touring America and Europe playing a Hillbilly / Country guitar for Kevin Montgomery (son of legendary Bob Montgomery - Buddy Holly’s writing partner), in between producing his own solo album, Do Nutty (www.seansnook.co.uk), doing sessions for Beth Gibbons (Portishead) and Gavin Thorpe and of course, playing with The Shrinks, whom he joined in 2013.

6 artists that have struck a chord in Sean’s non-specific genre stylings:

The Beatles
The Small Faces
Steve Cropper
Prince
Nile Rodgers
Graham Coxon
